HOW MUCH WATER DO YOU NEED

General Recommendations

  • 3.0 L (13 cups) per day for men

  • 2.2 L (9 cups) for women

  • Intake should be increased if exercising briskly or in a hot climate

Water is the queen,

When you are sick and don’t want to eat anything, doctors tell us to be hydrated. Between 60%-70% of our weight is water. It plays a significant role in weight programs designed to lose weight, boosts your metabolism, and increases your fat burn.

Also, it is hard for the body to tell the difference between hunger and thirst. Being 1% dehydrated could cause a significant drop in metabolism.

That’s why it always has been the first thing that I tell my clients. Drink more water if they need to lose weight.
